The CW Decides to Renew 7th Heaven After All; ABC and NBC Add to Their Schedules

Breaking News! The Futon Critic has learned that The CW will in fact pick up 7th Heaven for its eleventh season. Even though 7th Heaven has been losing money for the network, it was WB's top show this season.

In other news, ABC has picked up another four pilots. The most intriguing is Brothers & Sisters, starring a whole lot of big names. Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal), Balthazar Getty (Alias), Dave Annable (Reunion), Patricia Wettig (Prison Break and Alias), and Ron Rifkin (Sloane on Alias) are all a part of the show. In addition, two people I've actually heard of are serving as executive producers (Marti Noxon and Ken Olin).

The other ABC additions are Men In Trees, Traveler, and Ugly Betty. If you would like more information on any of these shows, check out The Futon Critic.

Finally, NBC has picked up 20 Good Years (starring Jeffrey Tambor of Arrested Development and John Lithgow).

Are you excited about any of these new shows? Shocked by the 7th Heaven announcement? Feel free to discuss in the comments section.
